Fatherhood

In recent years there has been a tremendous amount of scandal and controversy regarding homosexuality and child molestation amongst the ranks of priests and other clergy in the Roman Catholic Church. As a result, I've noticed a good amount of negativity towards priests in general.

This image is more or less an attempt to combat that negative energy and depict a more positive image of two young men who have chosen a life dedicated to upholding their traditional values, as symbolized by their archaic cassocks and the gothic-styled backdrop.

They walk together as if in mid-conversation; as friends, brothers, and fathers.

We should never forget that for every individual who commits terrible deeds, there are always many more who have a predilection for good.
